Our eSports programme is putting Curro at the forefront of education and gives our learners an advantage by providing opportunities to explore this industry, which may offer future career opportunities.

eSports (or electronic sport) is competitive video-gaming which often includes multiplayer game competitions between individuals or teams. eSports provides a meaningful skills-development and growth opportunity including strategy, research and media literacy, collaboration, self-management, leadership, interpersonal skills, conflict resolution, communication, creativity and more.

We always need to be mindful of managing screen time and ensuring the safety of our learners online. Only Curro teachers and learners who have signed up for eSports have access to this secure site. The site, powered by ACGL and Acer, provides the following:

  • Curro league and tournament information
  • Access to hosted eSports games and logistics
  • Viewing of team rankings, player statistics and school participation
  • Livestreaming of games
